| One
of the major strengths of ATLAS is the availability
of a wide range of secondary slitter rewinders for plastic
film, so that all plastic film production requirements can
be met by one supplier |
|
|
Over
many years, ATLAS has developed solutions for all the
requirements of plastic film production plants, including center
winders, center-surface winders and shaft type machines. All of
these machines can be designed with either under-floor or overhead
web paths.
Generally,
secondary slitters vary between 1200 mm and 3000 mm web widths,
with slitting widths from 50 mm up to almost the full web width,
if required.

| Rewind
diameters range from between 300 mm to 1200 mm, with
machine speeds of between 300 to 1000 m/min.
A full range of options exist such as AC or DC
rewind drives, computer or analogue programmer systems,
automatic, semi-automatic or manual width set-ups and
manual or automatic unloading systems. |
